On December 19th, GAC AION UT made its grand official launch along the Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. Hosting the launch event at this location underscores GAC’s strong commitment to Hong Kong as a key strategic market within its global right-hand-drive vehicle strategy.

Wang Shunsheng stated that as a super hub connecting China with the world, Hong Kong serves as a crucial window for Chinese automobiles to enter the international market. GAC regards Hong Kong as the strategic foothold for its globalization strategy and an important link to explore the global right-hand drive vehicle market. Guided by the "One GAC 2.0" globalization strategy, GAC officially released the "Hong Kong ACTION" strategy at the Hong Kong International Automobile Exhibition last June. Adhering to the philosophy of "In Hong Kong, For Hong Kong, Integrating into Hong Kong, Serving Hong Kong, Contributing to Hong Kong", GAC is committed to creating more low-carbon, green and intelligent wonderful mobile life for Hong Kong users.

Since the release of "Hong Kong ACTION", GAC has actively fulfilled its commitments, making vigorous progress in products, channels, services, energy ecology and mobility systems, and the development of the enterprise is closely linked to the pulse of Hong Kong's urban development.

In the just-concluded 15th National Games and National Paralympic & Special Olympic Games, GAC, as the sole official automotive partner, provided 180 units of HYPTEC HT and 90 units of E9 to the Hong Kong region, ensuring the smooth holding of the events. It also launched initiatives such as setting up the "GAC Intelligent Mobility Support Center" and implementing the GAC One-Code Service, which were highly recognized by the organizing committee, truly achieving "Integrating into Hong Kong, Serving Hong Kong, Contributing to Hong Kong". After the Tai Po fire, GAC promptly donated HK$6 million and provided support vehicles to tide over the difficulties with Hong Kong society, interpreting the responsibility and commitment of a state-owned enterprise with practical actions.

According to data from the Transport Department of Hong Kong, GAC's sales have entered the TOP 3 of Hong Kong's electric vehicle market for many consecutive months, and the cumulative sales from January to November this year ranked TOP 5 in Hong Kong, fully demonstrating the recognition of GAC by the majority of Hong Kong users.
